The Memoirs of A Very Dangerous Man

Alternatives are very pleased to announce that our Founder, the Revd Donald Reeves’ autobiography will be on sale at the end of March this year. In 1982 Donald was invited to be the Rector of St James Church. From the word go he saw the church as a place of light and hope for London. To Donald this meant creating a space for debate and acceptance, under this belief Turning Points was born. Turning Points evolved into Alternatives a few years later and as we are about to celebrate our 30th Birthday next year we would like to send our sincere gratitude to Donald.

We invite you all to read Donald Reeves' The Memoirs of a Very Dangerous Man' which will be published by Continuum on March 31st. Philip Pullman writes about his life:

' A Very Dangerous Man is the autobiography of a present day turbulent priest - one of the valuable sort. Donald Reeves has led a life of great variety, great purpose and great usefulness and anyone with the slightest curiosity about how a humane and open mind can work within a religious institution will find this book of great interest'.
